I am on staff at KCBY-TV, here are some of the segments that I created. The equipment we use to make these videos are a Canon 80D DSLR to film and we edit with Adobe Premiere Pro. KCBY is the weekly student-run television program at Coppell High School that covers what is happening in the community which reaches an audience of approximately 6,000 people. Each show is produced by students who film and edit weekly. Our television program has set the cornerstone for broadcast journalism in high school. KCBYCOPPELL.COM

Spring Football Game 2018 | Coppell Football

Each year, Coppell football has an annual spring game where the offense plays against the defense. I had the honor of filming this game and creating a hype video. This included players getting hype in front of the camera and great plays like touchdown passes.

Life Of An ADHD Student | KCBY-TV

For this segment, we created a special features short film for our pacemaker show. The pacemaker show is the biggest show of the year and is submitted to the national competition. We were able to use a stabilizer to get very smooth shots.

Coppell Soccer Playoffs 2018

My group and I traveled to Jamestown about 3 hours away from Dallas. Coppell was in the semi-finals in the state tournament. We brought a lot of equipment down to Jamestown and filmed the game. Sadly Coppell lost and was eliminated.

Coppell Student Media Commercial

For all of our shows, we promote our CSM app and we created a CSM Commerical that runs with every show. We filmed at multiple locations and different actors. We were able to get many drone shots that look the commercial to the next level.

Blake Bartlett Injury Comeback | KCBY-TV

I was able to tell Blake's story and how his faith brought him through his hard time. One challenging thing was interviewing his mom as it was to find the time when she was open. I also interviewed his teammate and friend that was with Blake during his hard time.

Coppell Roofing | KCBY Special Features

I was able to create a special features segment with a special features staff member. We wanted this to be funny and also "Artsy". It was hard getting on the roof and it was very windy.

A Local Adventure

One of my favorite segments that I was able to do this year was this one. Our team went to many locations to film and it took up a lot of time to film about 10-12 hours. The editing was intense as we added many effects to it.
